     >> Hedge House Wood Options
     >> Hedge House Warranty and Furniture Care

We are Philip and Katlyn, a brother and sister team who started Hedge House in 2009 with the goal of bringing high end, hardwood furniture to the public at an affordable price. Simple lines and understated silhouettes inspire our minimalist style, with the details being driven by purpose. Through a personal relationship and close collaboration with our craftsmen, we maintain a high level of quality and consistency that is hard to match. Each piece is custom-made by the same woodworker from start to finish, and our local, sustainably sourced materials are hand selected each and every time.

Hedge House's hardwood furniture is custom-made and built to order. As a family-owned company, we believe happiness comes from usefulness. To us, success is building a quality piece of furniture that becomes an integral part of your daily life and home. Our furniture only gets better with age, becoming an heirloom that can be passed down for generations.

With proper care, Hedge House solid wood furniture will last for generations. Our builders take precautions to account for the expansion and contraction of wood that occurs as humidity changes. Hedge House guarantees our furniture for the first two years, and will replace or repair any cracks due to builder defect. Hedge House will not replace furniture that is damaged by the user.

SHOP Carnevale Clay

Anne Carnevale; Artist & Owner
Chicago, IL

Carnevale Clay’s designs are inspired by functional objects that have been present throughout history - a cup, a plate, a spoon, a water jug...timeless, clean and simple. Traveling in the Mediterranean as a child, Anne became acutely aware of the handmade in the region. Its architecture and artifacts awakened an artistic sensibility that has shaped her life & work.

Anne creates sculptural vessels like the human figure–unique, one of a kind, changing from every viewpoint. Art pieces that are made to be held and used. Objects that aesthetically enhance the everyday moments of life. The vessels are hand-coiled, a technique that reaches into antiquity and predates throwing on a wheel. The simplicity of hand building artistically stands out in a world that is striving towards mathematical perfection - where the human imprint of the creative moment is hidden or lost.
