Working with both paint and fiber, she builds layers of color and texture by creating very precise paintings that are embellished with yarn and thread. Sarah received her BFA in 2013 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. For many years she straddled the line between Art and Craft, exhibiting original works as well as designing and producing over 100 do-it-yourself embroidery patterns, and completing commercial projects for companies such as The Washington Post and Oatly. Sarah currently works from her home studio in Baltimore City.
